Direct Digital Connection to your computer: the new proposal of Solidyne

D816 is connected directly to the PC (8 channels) Two PC can be used; one for automation software and another for Internet streaming. For the first time, you do not need to open the PC to install expensive soundcards. Only one USB connection is all that you needs with the D816. So the digital information from the PC arrives at the console and returns in digital format. Without distortions, without noises, humming or connection errors!

3 Microphones with Mic Processor

It has 4 bands shelving/peak equalizer, specially designed for the human voice.

An automatic dynamic range compressor allows to equal the levels of different voices, allowing a compact sound on the air.

Make conferences between 3 phones

The D816 has inputs for two land lines and a cell phone . The hybrids are internal and you don't need to purchase others. For the first time, you have a quality connection to your cellular, free of noises and distortions, because it works in 4 wires mode, instead of the usual 2 wires hybrid mode. Also, you will enjoy an additional feature that no other console offers: the conference between cellular and telephones lines. The use of corporative cell phones for yours reporters and journalists will save much money in telephone communications.

Semi-automatic phone Hybrids control

The console includes a mini telephone PBX, so the DJs & operator's can handle the calls by itself. The incoming calls produce the blinking of high brightness LEDs that alerts him, without producing sound. Pressing a button the operator connects the line in private, being able to talk free hands through the talkback MIC.
A small opening of the hybrid fader disconnects the line from CUE and connects it in HOLD mode, so that the caller waits listening to the air program.

For sending on-air the caller, open the fader to the appropriated level.

It is possible to operate with the Hybrid on the Air channel or at the recording channel, according to the operator's preference.

Advanced Monitoring System

The D816 has an advanced system of monitoring. It allows using active speakers, including low cost units for PC use. The console has an internal Distribution Amplifier for 8 studio headphones.

Modular electronics

All the electronics and the audio controls, are mounted in modules that allow their replacement in remote zones, without technicians able to repair to component level.

The switching power supply, 90 - 240 V works
with any mains supply and in zones
with great variations of the mains voltage.
